Two weeks ago I began using the WordPress Plugin SVN repo to create a WP plugin for work. I also registered one of my favorite plugins as well: Clipboard Express.
Over the past few days I’ve finalized the 1.2 release of Clipboard Express in reparation to add it to the WordPress Plugin directory. It’s available for download through WordPress and will now automatically update you when an upgrade is available (WP v. 2.5+)
I have not yet tested it on WP 2.7 which came out earlier today and I have no intention of supporting 2.7 till the next minor release comes out (ie. 2.7.1).
I love WordPress but sometimes the new updates are a bit too buggy for my taste. I never upgrade any of my, or my client’s sites till a release has been out for a while or has had a minor release fixing new bugs.
If you are developing plugins then you should submit them to the WordPress plugin directory. It’s really easy to do and (fingers crossed) should be well worth the exposure.
