Little Hiatus

Sorry about my absence lately. I've been busy trying to get a couple projects done. One mini CMS I was contracted to do, and a website re-design I am doing for a friend that we want to launch before the team gets tot eh 48 hour film festival (the first weekend in April.)

Both projects will (hopefully) be done this week, assuming I can get content on time!

Expect to see posts about using Wordpress as a CMS coming up as that's what the 2nd project is all about and I've learned some very cool things along the way.

Relative Dates in WordPress Templates
One of my favorite trends online is using relative dates like '1 week ago' or '4 days ago' instead of the standard June 11, 2008. I find it helpful in really getting a feel for the freshness of an entry or comment and it's super easy to implement in WordPress.
