Steven King’s “The Mist” is why my Insomnia Continues

Stephen King’s The MistI'm not turning into a movie review blog, don't worry, but I have to share this with you.

Not a spoiler review, promise!

It's just past 1am. I just got back a bit ago from the 10:00pm screening of Steven King's The Mist and to be perfectly honest, I am a little anxious about sleeping. That was a darn creepy movie.

I wish that man would stop writing so many New England based tales. Comes a little too close to home, if you know what I mean. The worst part of The Mist is I could imagine it happening on my drive home. Ugh...the things that come out of the mist...and the nature of people trapped in an enclosed space together with no apparent way out.

How quickly a person can turn on another in the face of fear.

Excellent film, 2 thumbs up 3.5 stars. The production quality is great, the classic Steven King story that sometimes makes you laugh out of the comedy and fear is spot on!

So go see it, but catch a daytime show so you might be able to distract yourself with other things before you go to sleep. I don't want to give away what's in the mist but not the kind of stuff you really want to run into in your dreams.

Scene from the Mist - from IMDB

One disappointment, the explanation. Sometimes things like that are better left unexplained cause the story the man gives about what caused the things in the mist...lame. Fabulous ending...should have seen that coming, two fold!

10,000,000 times better than The Fog. Hands down! I watched that movie last week and there is no comparison. So glad the previews didn't give ANYTHING away. If you are interested in seeing it make sure not to read any spoilers.
