Minimal Faire Photos
I am a disappointment.
I forget how scared I am of people when I go out to do street photography. I always tell myself "I'll be cool with talking to strangers, asking to take their pictures" but I never am.
You think it'd be extra easy especially with people all Renaissanced to the 9's but no...still a big lame shy photographer.
I snapped a couple shots, only two really worth editing and posting. I'm thinking about going again, maybe solo this time. I always find it so hard to take photos while with someone. Friends and family are always like "Oh, take that picture" or "That's be a great shot" whenever I have my camera out and 99% of the time they're wrong and I get weird looks when I take the pictures I would take, or they draw attention to me with "Well you've got the camera, take a picture of that" which if you are trying to get candid shots of strangers can really ruin a good shot if overheard. Maybe I'm just making up excuses, either way I need to find a way to get over that emotional-photographical block.
